We recently got with the cool kids club and mounted our TV on the wall. Rather than do some sort of entertainment center underneath we decided a simple shelf is best. Right now it is also the perfect resting place for some holiday sock monkeys.
Good for you Jacquelyn--it's nice to be free of that piece of furniture if you don't need it. I wish I could do that, but there's an amp, and a Bose thingy, and DVD player...I even have a dilemma if I get that much desired Danish console--who wants to put electronics on top of such a beautiful piece of furniture? Wish all that stuff was wireless!
